Dr. Astha Patel completed her MBBS from M.P. Shah Government Medical College, Jamnagar, followed by MS in Ophthalmology from Maharishi Markandeshwar University. Early in her career, she developed a keen interest in both surgical ophthalmology and chronic eye disease management, which shaped her future specialization.
She further pursued advanced clinical training at Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai, where she worked as a Senior Resident and Fellow in Comprehensive Ophthalmology, with focused training in Glaucoma Sub-specialty. This experience played a key role in strengthening her diagnostic depth and long-term disease management skills.
